Pumpkin White Hot Chocolate Recipe (Sugar Free, Keto)

This is my new favorite fall drink! This is a white hot chocolate but with pumpkin. It has real pumpkin and no refined sugar if you use sugar free white chocolate chips.

This makes 2 servings, but you can double or triple it and even make it in a slow cooker for a fall party. Both kids and adults will love it!

You can use regular white chocolate chips to make this, or you can make it with non dairy, sugar free, or vegan chips.

This is delicious as is, but if you want an adult drink, try adding an ounce of Kahlua or half an ounce of bourbon or whiskey to each glass.

Ingredients


  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 5 tablespoons white chocolate chips or 2 ounces white chocolate
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice

Instructions


Place milk, pumpkin puree and pumpkin spice in a small sauce pan. Heat over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
When it starts to simmer, add the white chocolate chips and stir until they are melted.
Let cool slightly and enjoy!

Tips

  • I have an electric stove, so I turn off the heat and leave the pan on the burner to melt the chips. If you have a gas stove, turn the heat down to low to melt them.
