Frozen Pineapple Margarita

Margaritas are one of the most popular cocktails, and it is no surprise why. They are deeeelish! I don’t care much for beer or wine. But I do love a good mixed drink.

Some of the best margaritas I’ve ever had have been in Mexico. Honestly, the sunny weather and beach views probably didn’t hurt. But since I can’t go to Mexico right now, I was determined to create a bit of margarita magic here at home. The result? A frozen pineapple margarita. This drink is great for a relaxing evening on the patio, a girls’ night, or a summer get-together with your neighbors.

But be warned. They are dangerously good!

Ingredients for Frozen Pineapple Margarita

With only seven ingredients, these frozen pineapple margaritas are easy to make and ready in a snap!

They are perfect if you need a quick drink for a party, but don’t want to spend all night playing bartender. You can even prepare them in advance (more on that in just a bit.)

  • 4 cups frozen pineapple chunks (equivalent to two 16 oz. bags)
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup tequila
  • 1/4 cup triple sec
  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 cup ice
  • extra lime and margarita salt for garnish

Instructions for Frozen Pineapple Margarita

Step 1

Pour the pineapple, lime juice, sugar, alcohol, and ice into the blender and blend until smooth.

Step 2

Fill a small plate or shallow bowl with margarita salt. Use a fresh lime wedge and gently rub it on the rim of the margarita glass.

Step 3

Dip the outer edge of the glass in the salt and rotate until it is fully covered.

Step 4

Pour the finished margarita into the glass, garnish with a fresh lime wedge, and enjoy!

Can You Make It Ahead of Time?

Yes. To save time, you can easily make this recipe in advance.

Follow the instructions as listed. Then just pop the blender cup in the freezer once everything is mixed together.

To defrost, take the blender full of the frozen pineapple margarita out of the freezer about 30 minutes before serving. Then prepare your cups as normal, pour some margarita, garnish and enjoy!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix the print function so it doesn't make me waste so much paper! I spend a ridiculous amount of time saving them as PDFs and then editing them to save space and paper. This is SUCH a WASTE!!!😊
