Easiest Ever Coleslaw Dressing
Coleslaw is something I look forward to every summer season. For my family it’s a staple that I make at least every other week.
I enjoy making a big batch of this to use over the next few days. This coleslaw is incredibly delicious eaten on its own or used as topping for burgers, tacos, fish, or pulled pork bbq sandwiches.
This Coleslaw dressing is extremely versatile and can be used to dress up cabbage, kale slaw and broccoli slaw. Using only a handful of basic pantry staples you will never have an excuse to buy store bought coleslaw dressing again. It only takes 5 minutes to whisk together and will be enjoyed no matter what you put it on!
For this salad I decided to make the traditional cabbage and carrot base. The dressing will cover a 4-6 serving salad, so double or triple this recipe if needed.
Whisk together the mayo, mustard, vinegar, sugar and salt and pepper until the sugar is dissolved and everything is evenly incorporated.
Pour the dressing over the cabbage and toss.
Since cabbage is not as delicate as lettuce I like to make sure I give everything a good mix, and even prefer to break up some of the tougher pieces of cabbage while doing so.
Garnish with some freshly chopped green onions and enjoy!
To me this dressing has the perfect balance of flavors. It’s not too sweet or too tangy, and will add to any dish without overpowering it.

Sounds great, but I do not have yellow mustard. I do have Dijon spicy mustard will that work!!! Thank you,
My father was a great cook. I loved his Cole slaw and watched when he made it. All same ingredients but without the green onion garnish which I will try the next time!
Thanks for your recipe.
