Blueberry Lemonade Cocktail/Mocktail If you’d like a delicious, seasonal summer cocktail or mocktail recipe, look no further than this Blueberry Lemonade drink! It is as beautiful as it is delicious.
One of the best parts of sitting on our patio is sippin’ on something refreshing while enjoying beautiful weather. For me, it doesn’t have to be a cocktail or a mocktail. It just needs to be delicious and not too difficult to make.This Blueberry Lemonade is a real crowd favorite for hosts and guests alike. It’s pretty straight forward to make, it looks beautiful, and it tastes even better, regardless of whether you’ve added the alcohol or not. Not all cocktails can stand on their own as a mocktail, but this one definitely can! That’s why I’ve added it to my summertime dinner party menu!In case you haven’t read about it yet, I’ve put together a summertime dinner menu for you that is complete from drinks to appetizers through dessert. I’ve taken all of the guess work out of menu planning so you can just print the recipe cards and head straight to the grocery store!Let’s jump in!1. Gather Ingredients
Ingredients you will need:1/2 cup extra fine granulated sugar1 cup blueberries1 cup squeezed lemon juice lemonade flavored sparkling water1 cup water1 lemon sliced thin, roundvodka as desired2. Make Simple Syrup
Combine sugar and 1 cup water in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Stir in blueberries and bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until blueberries have broken down, about 3-4 minutes.Strain blueberry mixture through a cheesecloth or fine sieve; let cool.3. Mix the DrinkAdd fresh blueberries and 1 thin lemon slice to the bottom of your cup. Fill rest of the glass with ice.Add a couple tablespoons of the blueberry simple syrup. Add 1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Add vodka, to taste, typically 1/2-1 full shot (60ml), if desired. Top off with sparkling lemonade.
Then enjoy! Once you have the simple syrup together, it really is just mixing a drink like any other. And this is one of the most refreshing cocktails/mocktails I’ve ever had. So what do you think? Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup extra fine granulated sugar

  • vodka as desired
Instructions
Make Blueberry Simple Syrup
Combine sugar and 1 cup water in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Stir in blueberries and bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until blueberries have broken down, about 3-4 minutes.
Strain blueberry mixture through a cheesecloth or fine sieve; let cool.
Assemble Cocktail
Add fresh blueberries and 1 thin lemon slice to the bottom of your cup.
Fill rest of the glass with ice.
