These slow cooker garlic mashed potatoes are the ultimate make-ahead side dish. Set the ingredients in slow cooker in the morning and forget about them until supper time. No more messing around with big pots of boiling water. Slow cooker mashed potatoes are made with small yellow or red potatoes, skim milk, garlic and dried rosemary. Making slow cooker mashed potatoes couldn’t be easier. Simply wash and peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks.
Next, place them in the slow cooker with the milk, garlic and dried rosemary. Turn the slow cooker on low and forget about it for 3-4 hours. If you need them cooked faster you can set it to high for 2 hours. Chop the potatoes smaller for faster cooking.
