One of the things I love about soup,(besides it being my favorite comfort food), is that most can be made in one pot. Whether it's a dutch oven, soup pot, or slow cooker, all you need to do is throw everything in and let the ingredients (and time) do all the work. That is the case with this recipe. This soup is also SUPER versatile. Meaning you can change out the ingredients based on what you have in your pantry or refrigerator. That's why I often call this soup my 'everything but the kitchen sink soup,' because it is filled with so much yummy goodness!
