There are a few things that you need to do to make this salad a little more point friendly. On my personal points, the broccoli salad, as is, comes in at 6 points. When I change the mayo for fat free Greek yogurt. I change the pork bacon to turkey bacon and reduce the raisins and the sunflower seeds. This brings the salad down to 3 points on my plan.

I like to make the dressing ahead of time and include the raisins in the dressing - the raisins plump up and get soft. yum!

    • Debi Murray Debi Murray on Jan 08, 2022

Me too. My daughter used to try and pick out just the raisins when she was a toddler because she loved them so much

I use cranraisins instead of raisins …like the flavor better. Also Apple Cider Vinegar instead of white vinegar per my Amish book recipe.

    Everyone loves this salad!

I have used apple cider vinegar a few times. It adds a lot of flavor.
