This is a great version of your classic mozzarella caprese salad with some additional vegetables and herbs that gives this classic a unique upgrade.

Mozzarella caprese is a salad that one thinks of when going out to dinner, it’s not so regular to make it for yourself at home, but this recipe gives you the option to make yourself an incredibly fresh and healthy salad in the comfort of your home.

I have many different plants in my home, which I enjoy and recommend to people to buy so they always have fresh ingredients to work with from there home. Basil, oregano, mint... these are incredible herbs that don’t take a lot of maintenance. Once adding fresh herbs to simple salads you suddenly have a more sophisticated and interesting dish.

In this recipe I used different vegetables, herbs, and cheese to make your ordinary mozzarella salad something a bit more exciting.
