Creamy Noodle and Crab Salad

This recipe was a compilation of several different recipes I make. I love crab meat even the imitation crab meat. That is what I used for this recipe because it is what was in the pantry at the time. That is one thing I love about it is just use what you have all the fresh vegetables you want. Which is wonderful this time of year. I used fresh peppers, yellow and orange. I always use green onions they just combine so well with the crab. I usually use the small sea shell noodles but did not have any this day. I drain and rinse the crab meat and then chop it into small pieces. I cook the noodles while doing that and drain them really well. I chop all of my veggies up into bite size pieces. After that i combine everything in a bowl and start making my dressing. For my dressing I use a combination of sour cream and mayonaise. Equal amounts and I add in some seasonings and stir to combine. Pour the dressing over the noodle and vegetable mixture and stir to combine. I let it sit in the refrigerator for at least two hours to let all the flavors combine together. Serve chilled.

Ingredients
Creamy Noodle and Crab Salad
  • 2 C noodles, cooked and drained
  • I package Crab meat, drained and chopped into bite size pieces.
  • 1 Yellow pepper, chopped finely
  • 1 Orange pepper, chopped finely
  • 6 Green onions chopped finely
Dressing
  • 1 C mayonaise
  • ! C Sour cream
  • 1/2 t Garlic powder
  • 1/2 t Onion powder
  • 1/4 t Seasoning salt
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions
For salad
Combine all the ingredients and stir in a bowl.
Add dressing and chill.
Dressing
Combine all of the ingredients and pour over the salad mixture.
Stir well.
Put in the refrigerator for at least two hours, serve chilled.
