Hands up if you love chicken wings! 🙋🏼‍♀️

I’d like to think of myself as a chicken wing connoisseur and have tried a TON of recipes to find the most perfect recipe! These are perfect crispy and so delicious you’d think they were from your favourite sports bar!

These chicken wings are perfect for a quick meal or for an afternoon of watching the big game. The steps are pretty simple and the recipe is super versatile! Feel free to mix up the sauce or spices to try something new. I love classic Buffalo or sweet Chili for sauces or some Greek seasoning for a dry rub. Enjoy this recipe!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp each; salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 1/2 cup sauce of your choice (see tips)
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425. Line a cookie sheet with tin foil and spread 1 tablespoon of the olive oil on the tray. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, add in chicken wings. Use a paper towel to dry the wings. This will allow the seasonings to stick!
In a large resealable bag, mix together flour and seasonings.
Add in the dried chicken wings and close the bag. Shake to evenly coat the wings in the flour mixture.
Place chicken wings on the prepared sheet tray ensuring there is space between each wing to allow for even cooking. Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the wings and toss to coat.
Cook wings for 30 minutes before removing from the oven. Use tongs to flip over the wings and continue to cook for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Take the sauce of your choice and use a silicone brush to coat your wings in the sauce. Place back on the sheet tray and bake for a minute or two to warm the sauce.
Serve hot and enjoy!
Tips
  • This recipe is super versatile and you can use whatever sauce you like! Pictured above I’ve used Thai Chili sauce, BBQ sauce and honey garlic sauce.
  • Add any seasoning mix you like to the flour if you’d prefer a dry rub on your wings. I’ve done Greek, Cajun and BBQ spice!
