Sweet Sticky Chicken

This chicken is quick and simple with very few ingredients but so very tasty either as a dinner or part of a buffet for a party.
Preheat oven to 180. Add 4fl oz of dark soy sauce to a bowl.
Add 2 tablespoons of sweet chilli sauce.
Stir these together.
Either chop or mince 3 garlic cloves.
Add the garlic to the bowl & mix.
Add 1-2teaspoons of cayenne chilli powder.
Give the mixture a good stir.
Put 10-12 skinless & boneless chicken thighs in an oven proof dish.
Score each thigh with a sharp knife 3 times.
Spoon the mixture over the chicken ensuring each piece is fully covered.
Once each piece is covered place in the oven and cook for 35-40 minutes until chicken has blackened and sauce has thickened.
I do re coat the chicken with the sauce a few times throughout cooking.
when the chicken is done remove it from the oven and serve with rice and salad or cold in a party buffet. The sauce will thicken even more as it cools. Enjoy. My kids fight over whose have the last piece.

- pour 4 fl oz dark soy sauce in a bowl.
- add 2 tablespoons of sweet chilli sauce and mix.
- Chop or mince 3 garlic cloves and add to the bowl.
- Add 1-2 teaspoons of cayenne chilli powder depending on how spicy you like it.
- place the chicken thighs in an oven proof dish and score 3 times with a sharp knife.
- pour the sauce over the chicken thighs ensuring each piece is fully covered.
- cook in the over for 35-40 minutes until chicken blackens and sauce thickens.
- I re coat the chicken a few times throughout cooking with the sauce from the dish.
- once cooked serve with rice & salad or eat cold as part of a buffet.
