It is actually the easiest sauce to make in only 15 minutes! You're gonna love it so much you will want to batch cook it and keep it in your fridge for other dishes!


This is the perfect snack, or you could pair it with some fries and salad for a full meal.


I used some diggers chicken strips for this recipe, and they were amazing! Crispy on the outside yet still packed with protein and an excellent taste. The perfect chicken strip for this amazing sauce!

Ingredients

  • -1 pack of chicken strips
  • -1/2 cup white tequila
  • -1/2 cup ketchup
  • -1/4 cup brown sugar
  • -1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • -1 tsp smoked paprika
  • -1/2 tsp black pepper 
  • -1/2 tsp mustard powder
  • -2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • -1/2 lime squeezed 
  • -1 tsp cornflour (for thickening) 
Instructions

Pop all your ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for approx 15 minutes. 
Add your corn flour (in water) and cook for a few extra minutes until it starts to thicken.
Air fry your chicken strips for 5 minutes. Remove and drizzle some of your sauce over. Cook for a further 3/4 minutes until crisp.
Serve with the rest of your sticky bbq sauce on top/ on the side
