Here's a different way to make pork chops for dinner - the addition of turmeric spice, cayenne and garlic makes this a healthy and delicious dinner recipe.

We use two kinds of garlic in this recipe - smoked garlic and fresh garlic. You can use one or the other or both if you like.

Served alongside some fresh grilled vegetables and a biscuit, it's a healthy meal, especially if you load up on the garlic like we do.

Combine the spices together, then rub into the pork chops. Turn over and rub the spice on the other side as well.

Let the meat sit for 10 minutes, while you dice up fresh garlic to add to the pan.

Cook the pork chops and diced garlic on medium heat (we use a cast iron Lodge skillet), turning over halfway through cooking time.

Make sure the meat is well cooked before removing from the stove.

Serve with fresh garden vegetables or salad.
