This recipe mission, if you choose to make it, is a delicious cheeseburger casserole made with Impossible Meat. We cleverly titled this the Impossible Cheeseburger Casserole. It’s packed with flavor and is an absolutely perfect recipe to make for a family with kids. This plant based meat honestly tastes exactly like a cheeseburger.

Val and I aren’t vegetarians, but we do like to change things up a bit in our meals. We have been messing around with plant based Impossible Meat and Beyond Meat products. We are honestly impressed with both products, but have been enjoying Impossible Meat a bit more. If you aren’t sure what I’m talking about, Impossible and Beyond are substitute meat products. They both say that its made to mimic meat in taste and smell, but in all honesty the smell isn’t amazing on either product.

The Impossible meat taste to me is a bit better. I think it holds seasonings a bit more and doesn’t have as much of an off aftertaste and I think Beyond Meat does. We’ve used Impossible meat to make regular burgers and would highly recommend that as well. Season the burgers just like you would normally and you’ll see it holds seasonings a bit better than normal meat. I do like to make my patties a bit skinnier though so they get a nice crisp texture, but back to the topic.

We decided to make our Impossible Cheeseburger Casserole because its an easy all in one recipe that would make dinner a breeze. The flavors will make you honestly believe that there is real meat in there. If you decide to make this for your family, I would be shocked if the kids could tell it wasn’t meat. Also, there’s cheese and pasta in it, so its just delicious all around.
