Bacon pasta is so easy to make! All you need is fresh arugula, bacon, parmesan, tomatoes, and cream, and you are on your way to the perfect penne carbonara with bacon recipe.

- Cook, chopped Bacon
- Heavy Cream
- Penne Pasta
- Onion
- Arugula
- Tomatoes
- Parmesan

Step 1: Cook pasta according to package directions. Once the pasta is cooked, reserve some of the water. Will use it later for the pasta sauce.
Step 2: Saute the chopped bacon and white onion together in a skillet over medium heat until cooked thoroughly.
Step 3: Add the heavy cream and pasta water, and 1 cup parmesan to the bacon and onion in a large skillet, and saute on low heat for 5 minutes or until the sauce starts to thicken.
Step 4: Next, add the chopped tomatoes, add in fresh lemon juice, and arugula, and toss in the penne pasta, and add more parmesan and combine.
Step 5: Garnish with Himalayan sea salt and freshly ground black pepper and serve immediately.
Pasta with bacon and bacon and pasta recipes are easy to make and are wonderful bacon pasta dishes. You could add spinach instead of arugula and make bacon spinach penne pasta.
Bacon Parmesan pasta will last up to three days in the fridge in a glass, airtight container. I do not recommend freezing this pasta as this pasta bacon recipe does not freeze well.

- Penne pasta should be cooked al dente and for no longer than 7-minutes. You'll know the penne pasta is done. You can also check the penne itself. At the bottom of the pasta tube there be a ring around it. For pasta that's al dente, there should be a thin ring of that lighter color inside.
How do I cook prepare pasta carbonara with cream parmesan and bacon?
- Once the penne pasta and bacon is cooked, simply add the cream and other ingredients and combine until everything has thickened.

Ingredients
- 1- box penne pasta
- 1/2- pound bacon chopped and cooked
- 1/2- cup chopped white onion
- 2- cups heavy cream
- 2- cups freshly grated parmesan
- 1-to mato chopped, or 1-cup cherry tomatoes
- 1/4- cup fresh lemon juice
- 2- cups arugula
- Himalayan sea salt and black pepper
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package directions
- Saute the chopped bacon and white onion together until cooked thoroughly
