Bacon and Ranch Pasta Salad

The whole family will love this Bacon and Ranch Pasta Salad this summer! Cold pasta salads make an easy dinner or dish to bring to potlucks and picnics.


This simple pasta salad recipe is similar to Creamy Bacon Parmesan Pasta Salad but with a little kick of ranch!

This simple pasta salad recipe only needs a few ingredients:

rotini pasta, mayonnaise, sour cream, milk, dry ranch seasoning, lean bacon, frozen green peas, grape tomatoes, and cheddar cheese. 


Mix dressing in bowl. You can also use homemade ranch dressing mix.

Add the other ingredients, and gently stir to coat all with the dressing.

Refrigerate at least 1 hour to allow flavors to combine.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces rotini pasta cooked and cooled to room temperature.
  • ⅔ cup mayonnaise
  • ⅔ cup sour cream
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • 1 package dry ranch dip mix
  • 6 slices lean bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 9 oz frozen green peas, thawed
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, diced
Instructions

Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, milk and dry ranch packet ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
Add all remaining ingredients to a large bowl and toss gently.
Stir in dressing and mix until all ingredients are well coated.
Refrigerate at least 1 hour to allow flavors to combine.
Serve cold.
Tips
  • Peas can be thawed overnight in the refrigerator or place them in a colander and run cold water over them until thawed.

    How about substituting something for the peas? My husband and I aren’t fans of peas. How about broccoli?
