Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp tahini
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, coarsely chopped
  • 1/8 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 lemons (juice of 2 lemons, zest of 1 lemon)
  • 2 teaspoons spicy brown mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions

Add the fresh herbs, garlic cloves, lemon juice, and lemon zest to the bowl of a food processor. Pulse until the herbs are chopped. A coarse consistency is fine.
Add tahini, extra virgin olive oil, kosher salt, and spicy brown mustard. Pulse to thoroughly combine.
Add water to thin the consistency to your liking.
Store in an refrigerated air tight container for up to one week.
Tips
  • Add more tahini for a thicker consistency, or water for a thinner consistency.
  • As with any recipe, add minor adjustments to your liking!
