The Perfect Party Dessert Dip

I absolutely love throwing parties and having guests over to try my incredible recipes. This dip is by far my favorite. The dip is super simple to make with only a handful of ingredients. Get the same results as a cheesecake in just a few minutes. Avoid the water baths, cracking, and chilling. It comes out nice and soft with a delectable flavor and I just love dipping some vanilla wafers into it to give it that amazing cheesecake flavor. You can make this recipe for any occasion too! I love it as a picnic treat, BBQ treat, or just your normal get-together to have something good to eat.

What Is Cherry Cheesecake Dip?

I would like to start off by saying that this dip is a no-bake. This dip is a recipe that doesn’t involve an oven or a hot plate. It is just a quick and easy set of ingredients mixed up together to form a dip. This is a cheesecake dessert that uses marshmallow fluff, cream cheese, and cool whip. It is then topped with a yummy cherry filling that is spread all over for a second delicious layer.

Tips For Making The Best Dessert Dip:

  • Although I adore some cherries, you can also try out other fillings like strawberry or blueberry which are great options.
  • Use this recipe to make a no-bake pie as well. It’s simpler to just throw together as a dip, but a full-fledged pie is always delicious.
  • If you want to save a few calories for this dessert, you can use light ingredients like light whipped cream and light cream cheese.

Tools For Making Cherry Cheesecake Dip:

Baking Dish: I like using this 9×13-inch glass baking dish because it comes with a cover that can help with easy storage and keep the flies away if I have a party!

Frosting Spatula: This is another tool that makes it easy to spread and smooth out frosting, whipped cream, and a ton more different things. If you have shaky hands, the angled spatula can help give you more control and keep your hands clean and reduce mess.

Can Dessert Dip Be Made In Advance?

Yes! This can be made 24 hours in advance which makes it the perfect last-minute idea for whatever you have planned. If you decide to make it ahead, allow it to sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes before enjoying it.

How Long Does Cherry Cheesecake Dip Last?

Make sure your cheesecake is in an airtight container and keep it in the fridge to last for up to 2-3 days.

How Long Can Dessert Dip Be Left Out?

For most desserts and food in general, you want to keep perishable food out for a max of 2 hours, and anytime over that would cause bacteria to form on your food. Where ever you decide to make this recipe, I recommend having a fridge or cooler nearby to pop it in to chill after the two-hour mark. Because I know your guests will for sure love this recipe. After the two-hour mark just makes sure to chill the recipe for 30 minutes before enjoying it again.
