Peanut Free Kiss Cookie

Peanut Butter Free Kiss cookies are a favorite wherever you go. This recipe is perfect if for anyone with a nut allegry.

If you need a quick and easy dessert, this cookie recipe is perfect.

These cookies will be ready in less than 25 minutes from start to finish.

Start by Mixing butter, egg, sugar, and vanilla until well blended.

Melted butter will result in a bit of a lighter cookie, while softened butter will be a bit more cake-like.

In a separate bowl combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Mix. You can sift these ingredients as most recipes call for, but I tend to not, and always have great cookies.

Slowly blend in dry ingredients with wet in the bowl of your mixer.

You may find it's less messy to mix the flour mixture in with a spatula before turning your mixer on to make less of a mess.

shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll lightly in powdered sugar.

Place the cookies on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet.

Bake for 8-10 minutes

If you like the taste of cookie dough, but worry about eating raw eggs, I have an edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Recipe that will satisfy that craving for you. You can also easily make the recipe gluten-free by subbing your favorite flour.

After baking, cool the cookies for 1-2 minutes then gently press a Hersey Kiss into the center of each cookie.

Move to a wire rack to cool completely before enjoying.
