Do you feel guilty, when Kid's ask for some cookies and you just give store brought cookies? My answer is 'Yes'!

Everytime I feel guilty, so I make varieties of homemade cookies ready in my pantry for my family to munch on without any guilt. These healthy Jowar Cookies are mouth watering snack for any age group and can be munched in between meals or when ever hungry. I had made these eggless cookies for our recent day trip. For a healthier version, you can use peanut butter instead of regular butter. To enhance the taste of these cookies, you can add chopped dryfruits.

These Millet Cookies are Refined Sugar Free and Refined Flour Free. I have been making these millet cookies for about 4 to 5 years now. I am always looking for healthier options that can improve our daily nutrition. As they don't have gluten so you will need to add a gluten element to bind the cookies together, that's where the whole wheat flour comes in. The Millets flour make the cookies very crisp and crumbly.

I shaped these cookies using palm but you can use any cookie cutter for proper shape Bake cookies in preheated oven, once baked, cool down completely and then store in a airtight container.

In India at every street you will find a bakery shop where you will find varieties of cookies. This cookie recipe is quite easy and simple requires minimal ingredients. And yes, Whenever we travel or go for a short trip these homemade cookies are always life saver.
