No bake chocolate chip oatmeal cookie dough energy balls! I was playing around with different ingredients and the result ended up being amazing. I used the super seed blend from L ive Natural Now to add in the extra source of omega-3’s and fibre! If you do not have this, you can add any or all three of the following: chia seeds, hemp seeds and flax seeds. These are an awesome snack if you’re on the go but still want to get in your nutrients. They are almost like little cookies, so I like to pair them with a glass of plant-based milk! Check out the recipe below:

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp @livenaturalnow Superseeds Blend (or 1 tsp each of chia seeds, hemp seeds and flax seeds)
  • 2 tbsp coconut shreds
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp any smooth nut butter
Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients together.
Start forming sections of the dough into 1 inch balls. Depending on the nut butter you use, you may need to add more if the dough is not sticking. (OR, you can add more maple syrup instead but taste along as you go as it may end up too sweet). If you find that your dough is too sticky, try to refrigerate it for 10 minutes before rolling into balls.
2 tbsp chocolate chips
