See how you can make these tasty cake mix pops in just a little over five hours. This recipe makes 10-12 popsicles depending on the size of your mold.
Here’s what you need to make these cake mix popsicles. Measurements are in the recipe card below.
- Funfetti Cake Mix
- Whole milk
- Frozen whipped topping
- Rainbow sprinkles
You will also need a popsicle mold and some popsicle sticks.
- Sturdy silicone mold that's perfect for homemade popsicle recipes.
- Move it from the counter to the freezer without anything under it.
- Has a bit of give so you can easily squeeze the bottoms to release the pops.
- Lids that help the sticks stay in place.
- Compact size that doesn't take up too much space in the freezer -- because who has that?
Add the cake mix and the milk to a blender and mix on low speed until fully combined.
Gently fold in the whipped topping and rainbow sprinkles.
Pour the mixture into the popsicle molds.
Top with additional sprinkles if you choose.
Freeze for at least 5 hours or overnight.
Enjoy!
If you use a plastic or metal popsicle mold, you may want to omit the whipped topping, as it’s often difficult to pull out of the mold. Instead, replace the whipped topping with heavy whipping cream or yogurt. The idea is to have 3 cups of milk, yogurt, or whipped cream to mix with the boxed cake mix.
