Ingredients

  • 3 medium Sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 1/2 T Gluten free flour
  • 2 c Non dairy Milk
  • 3 c Chicken Stock
  • 1 T Dried Onion
  • 1 t Garlic powder
  • 2 containers non dairy Cream Cheese, I like the Tofutti brand
  • 1/2 c Bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 c Non dairy Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 T Non dairy Butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a stock pot, add sweet potatoes and flour. Mix well.
Cook over medium high heat.
Add milk, chicken stock, onion and garlic. Stir well. Cook until potatoes are tender.
Reduce heat to simmer.
Add cream cheese, bacon, cheese butter, salt and pepper.
Simmer for 20-30 minutes.
Top with fresh chives.
Enjoy!

    Does this really use sweet potatoes? The photos look like regular potatoes.

    Could I use dairy stuff in here instead of non dairy? I have never used non dairy products, so not sure if the texture would screw everything up or not!!! I would love to try it.

      But would seem delicious with white or new potatoes. What do I know??
