Are you looking for the perfect dessert for an Easter celebration? These egg-shaped brownies should be on every dessert table for this years Easter desserts! This is a nice chocolate substitute to the classic carrot cake recipes. This ranks high as a cute Easter dessert recipe that uses cadbury eggs and melted white chocolate. These are perfect to eat after Easter dinner. These would also be great as a treat in an Easter basket, or Easter treats for an elementary school party.

Ingredients needed for this Easter holiday dessert:


  • Brownie mix
  • 2 eggs (for the brownie mix used)
  • ¼ cup water (for the brownie mix used)
  • ½ cup vegetable oil (for the brownie mix used)
  • 4 oz white chocolate, melted
  • Cadbury Mini Eggs candy, crushed
  • 2 ½ inch egg cookie cutter to make brownies in the shape of Easter eggs

Makes 12-14, depending on how you cut out the egg shapes

Directions:


  1. Prepare the brownie mix, and bake according to package directions in a 9×13” pan.

2. Add the dry mix to a large mixing bowl and then add 2 eggs to the cake mix.

3. Add water to the cake mix

4. Then add oil, the last ingredient needed to be added to the dry cake mix.

5. Stir and pour into greased 9″ x 13″ pan.

6. After you reheat your oven, bake your brownies at the suggested time on the box.

7. Allow brownies to cool completely.

8. Use the cookie cutter to cut out egg shapes, then arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

9. Melt the white chocolate, and add to a ziplock baggie. The ziplock baggie acts as a pastry bag. You can use a real pastry bag if preferred, but the ziplock back makes for easier clean-up.

10. Cut the very corner of the baggie, then drizzle melted chocolate in a back and forth motion over the brownie eggs.

11. Add Cadbury Mini Eggs to a ziplock baggie and use a meat tenderizer or rolling pin to gently crush them.

12. Sprinkle crushed Cadbury Mini Eggs candy over each brownie.

These would also be wonderful to serve as dessert at any Easter brunch.
