Topped with whipped cream and fresh berries, mini brownie bites are the perfect, no-fuss dessert for your 4th of July celebration.

4th of July Traditions

Like so many holidays, the 4th of July in our home is synonymous with two words. Family and food!

Over the years, it has become a tradition to visit my hometown during the 4th. We love to enjoy all of the charm and fun that a small town has to offer. There is a parade, a pancake feed, a fun run, turtle races, and so much more. And, of course, I can’t forget about the fireworks!

But honestly, one of the things that I look forward to the most is my mom’s cooking. My mom is an ah-mazing cook, and everything I know, I learned from her. Every 4th of July, we enjoy spending time in the kitchen together making all of our favorites like cucumber pasta salad and grilled chicken wings. Then there is broccoli salad, potato salad, and jello fluff salad. (Are you sensing a trend?) And there always HAS to be dessert!

With all of the other food prep, we start to lose a bit of steam when it comes time to make the dessert. Mini 4th of July brownie bites to the rescue!

They are the perfect no-fuss option, and the red and blue berries add a festive pop of color. These bite-sized treats are ready in less than 10 minutes, which means less time spent in the kitchen and more time spent having fun and making memories.

Ingredients For Mini 4th of July Brownie Bites

  • 1 package (32 oz.) store-bought brownie bites. For this recipe, I like to use the mini brownies from Target, but any brand will work.
  • 1 can whipped cream
  • 1/4 carton (4 oz.) strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 carton (3 oz.) blueberries

Instructions For Mini 4th of July Brownie Bites

Remove the brownies from the package and place them on a plate or platter.

Rinse all of the fruit and slice each strawberry into fourths.

Add a dollop of whipped cream to the top of each brownie bite.

NOTE: To save time, I used whipped cream from a can. If you want to make your own, I suggest using this recipe for homemade whipped cream from Sally’s Baking Addiction.

Then top each brownie bite with fresh strawberries and blueberries and enjoy!

As you can see, my whipped cream melted faster than I could snap photos. But melty whipped cream didn’t stop my family from devouring them! And I’m sure they will be a hit with your family and friends too.

That’s it! An easy-peasy, fun, and festive red, white, and blue dessert that’s ready in a snap.
