While I often use a mix to make brownies in a rush, making brownies from scratch is easier than you think and only takes a few ingredients. Here is how to make them!
To make your easy homemade brownies, you’ll need eggs, butter, cocoa, flour, sugar, vanilla and baking powder. Get the exact measurements in the recipe card below.
To start your homemade brownie recipe, you’ll want to melt your butter over low heat.
Once your butter is melted, turn off the heat and add the cocoa powder. Mix well until ingredients are combined.
In a large mixing bowl, pour your butter and cocoa mixture into the sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla, then mix well.
Add baking powder to the flour and slowly add it to the wet mixture. Stir until combined.
Once your batter is well mixed, pour it into the silicone or non-stick brownie pan. Bake your homemade brownies for 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out mostly clean. Let your brownies fully cool before cutting into squares.
