Colored Rice Krispie Treats “ Jersey Girl Knows Best”
Step back into time with some rice cereal treats! You can cut or form them into any shape…you can even build with these! Oh and don’t forget about the decorations 🤩 Ready?! Let’s do this!
To make the treats even flatter, I use a metal bowl with a flat bottom and some wax paper. What is even better is the bowl served a dual purpose since you already used it mix all the way ingredients together. These are so much fun to make!
It is very easy to drizzle the candy melts across the rice cereal treat. If you are adding sprinkles, I would add them right after the candy drizzle. The candy melts harden very quickly so act fast!
Depending on how you want to decorate these rice cereal treats, the possibilities are endless! Whether you are making these for a party, a holiday or a weekend project, you will get a delicious treat in the end. These came out so cute and they taste amazing!

I would color the icing in pastel pink and or yellow for Easter basket colors! 😉😁
I made green and red treats and used a package of flavored jello to the marshmallow mix for Christmas. Lime for green and cherry for the red. Kids loved them!
