Air Fryer Baked Apples

Air fryer baked apples are an easy gluten-free dessert recipe everyone loves. Find out how to bake apples in an air fryer easily.
Finding a gluten-free dessert for when my daughter visits isn’t as easy as it sounds. We don’t like to serve a lot of super sweet desserts because my husband is diabetic. But, since everyone loves fruit desserts, these apples baked in an air fryer are a delicious option.
You will need to remove the center of the apple in order to add the oat and nut mixture. To do that easily, just get an apple corer. You can do it by hand with a sharp knife. But, it’s a lot easier to use an apple corer.
These air fryer baked apples are gluten free so they do not contain flour. They do contain oats they aren’t Paleo or Keto friendly. But, for those that are looking for a lighter dessert, this is a wonderful option. They also have a tablespoon of maple syrup. So, they are not sugar free. But, if you are simply watching your sugar, this won’t have a huge impact.
