Is it socially acceptable to make pumpkin recipes all year round? Now that it is November, I feel like fall is wrapping up and everyone is looking forward to the Christmas season. Although I am super excited for that and the holiday baking that comes with it, I am still hooked on pumpkin! This cinnamon crunch pumpkin bread is so delicious. Especially fresh out of the oven with some butter on top. It’s soft, it’s moist, and that cinnamon crunch topping is the perfect “icing on the cake.” Don’t skip out on that part! I also like making these into muffins as well.

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 can of pumpkin purée (15 oz)
  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • Pinch of ginger & cloves
For the streusel:
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter
Instructions
For the bread:
Preheat oven to 375°.
In a large bowl, combine butter, eggs, vanilla, sugar, and pumpkin.
Then add in the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves until just mixed.
Pour into a greased loaf pan.
For the streusel:
In a small bowl, combine the ingredients for the streusel and mix until a crumble forms.
Sprinkle on top of the bread and then bake for 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and top with foil so that it doesn’t get too brown on top.
Then bake for 20-30 more minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
