Known more in it’s sweet form, bubble bread is also called “monkey bread” or “pull apart bread”. All involve small pieces of dough, either bread or biscuit, baked in a Bundt pan with some sort of sauce or seasonings mixed in. After it’s baked, it’s inverted onto a serving plate and creates a delicious looking pastry ring. No need to slice the bubble bread, as it’s meant to be pulled apart by the small pieces of dough making it perfect for entertaining.

While I’m all for the cinnamon rolls and other baked sweets, this Everything Bagel Bubble Bread brings a more savory baked option to the table while paying homage to an “everything” bagel with cream cheese.

Biscuit pieces coated in butter and Everything Bagel Seasoning with dabs of cream cheese dotted throughout.

This Everything Bagel Bubble Bread is perfect for entertaining as guests can easily "pull" a piece off.

Ingredients

  • 2 16 oz. cans refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 stick butter unsalted
  • 3 tbsp. everything bagel seasoning
  • 4 oz. cream cheese
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°.
Generously grease bottom and sides of bundt pan. Melt butter in microwave.
Remove biscuits from can and quarter each. A kitchen scissor works really well for this. Place biscuit pieces in large mixing bowl and add melted butter.
Sprinkle in bagel seasoning. Stir gently until biscuit pieces are well coated. Place about half of the biscuits into bundt pan.
Take half of the cream cheese and evenly dot small pieces in and over dough. Top with remaining biscuits and repeat with the rest of the cream cheese.
Bake 35-40 until deep golden brown. The bubble bread should spring back when poked. Leave in pan for about 10 minutes before inverting onto plate. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Tips
  • Everything bagel seasoning can be found in the spice aisle at many grocery stores. If you can’t find it, you can make your own using 2 teaspoons poppy seeds, 2 teaspoons sesame seeds, 2 teaspoons dried garlic, 2teaspoons dried onion flakes, and 1-1/4 teaspoons kosher salt.
  • Everything Bagel Bubble Bread makes a great addition to brunch. Serve alongside scrambled eggs and fresh fruit.
