Quick and Easy Mango Lassi Smoothie

Mango is always one of my top summer cravings – it is always so refreshing on a hot day! This is a great little recipe that be used as a breakfast or a refreshing afternoon snack. It can easily be made vegan by using dairy-free alternatives. Using frozen mango but only makes this super quick to prepare, but also makes the smoothie have a thicker, milkshake consistency. It also means that you can the ingredients always in the house to whip up anytime! Of course it can also be made with fresh mango, but you may want to add a couple ice-cubes to the blender.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen chopped mango
  • 1 cup plain yogurt or dairy free alternative
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cardamon pods, seeds only, crushed (optional)
Instructions

Add all the ingredients to a blender, and blend until smooth. Adjust the consistency as desired with a little more milk. 
Pour into a glass with ice and serve.
