Spiced Apple Cider Syrup “Jersey Girl Knows Best”
Do you love Fall? Is it one of the most colorful times of the year. Fall means warm spices like cinnamon, cloves and allspice! Why not spice things up with a spiced apple cider syrup for your next breakfast adventure?! Ready? Let’s do this!
Now that the cider is boiling, it’s time to reduce it down to a simmer. Your whole house will start to smell amazing! It smells like I lit an apple spice or harvest candle!
I removed all the larger spices before straining the syrup. The syrup has fully reduced down now.
It’s time to strain the apple cider. through a wire mesh strainer. Doing this process will help to remove any leftover spices that were left on the bottom of the pan. It has such a rich color and with no added sugar!
Look at how beautiful that color is! I love all these warm fall spices. This syrup is great on pancakes, waffles, French toast or whole grain toast instead of jam. You can even use this as part of your fall cocktails 🍹 I hope put your leftover apple cider to good use and created this delicious condiment.
