Learn how to make a unique frozen slush using classic cocktail ingredients.

This recipe calls for whiskey and coca-cola mixed in an ice cream maker to create a slush. A great addition to any summer party or cook out.

Once you read through this recipe, you can use this technique to turn just about any drink into a slush. Juice works too, and you don't even have to add alcohol.

For this recipe you will need coca-cola, or your favorite cola drink, and honey whiskey. Feel free to use regular whiskey but this combination produces a sweet and delicious drink.

Pour ingredients into an ice cream maker to create a slush.

An ice cream maker has 2 parts. The bowl is stored in the freezer and gets really cold. Take the bowl out of the freezer and put it on the motor. Plug in the machine and the bowl spins. Pour in your ingredients and they slowly start to freeze and create a slush.

The result is a slushy cold drink.

Let the machine run for about 20 minutes to achieve this consistency.

If you run it too long the drink will become almost solid.

After 20 minutes scrape down the sides and scoop the slush into a glass and enjoy.
