why we love this watermelon mojito

It’s summer, it’s hot out, and let’s be real…we all want a yummy cold drink in our hand. If you have some excess watermelon in your fridge, then you need to make the mocktail asap! This watermelon mojito is quick, refreshing, and super easy to make.

With juicy watermelon, tart lime juice, fresh mint, and sparkling seltzer…what’s not to love?

muddle the mint

The next steps are pretty much the same as a traditional mojito. You’ll muddle the fresh mint leaves with the sugar and the lime juice in the bottom of your glass.

If you don’t have a muddler, you can use the back of a wooden spoon to do this.

Next, add in the lime seltzer (and white rum if you’d like this to be a cocktail).

Be sure to leave about 1-2 inches of room at the top of the glass.

Pour in the blended watermelon (about 2-3 tbsp per glass) and top off the cocktail with crushed ice. You can also garnish this easy watermelon mojito mocktail with some more mint leaves!
