This recipe is one of my favorites for the simple reason that falafels are so delicious and so perfect for meal prepping in advance. You can add them to salads, pitas, wraps, bread...basically anything. I love making salad bowls out of these by adding some delicious veggies on the side. For those of you don't want to fry these, you can always place them in the air fryer or bake them. Unfortunately I don't have an air fryer but I am so certain that they will taste incredible. This recipe has amazing ingredients such as oats, turmeric, lemon juice....all so so good for you. I hope you do try and please leave me a comment if you do!!

Ingredients


  • 1 cup chickpeas
  • 1 garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin (opt)
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 3 tablespoons oats
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions


In a food processor, blend all the ingredients together.
Form the falafels then you can coat them in some breadcrumbs. Totally optional though!
Fry immediately in some oil or else refrigerate until you want to eat them.
