Baked Garbanzo Beans
Try this baked garbanzo bean recipe for a fantastic snack that is full of fiber and healthy for everyone. You can see more of my crazy creations here
You'll need the following
- 1 can garbanzo beans
- Olive Oil
- Salt & Pepper
Open one can of garbanzo beans and place it in a strainer. Rinse the chickpeas with water to remove all of the preservative liquid. Let them sit for a little bit to make sure all the water has drained out.
Place the chickpeas in a bowl. Mix in 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
Place your garbanzo beans on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
Pull out and let cool completely.
If you baked them in the oven, you may need to bake longer to get to your desired crunchiness.

These are so easy to make and you can always switch up ingredients. I have seen a similar recipe that had a dusting of cayenne pepper powder, or garlic & onion powder. Any powdery spice would work. Great, easy & healthy idea!
