Candied Carrots Ingredients
- 3 cups carrots, sliced
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt, to taste
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1-2 teaspoons dried thyme

How To Make Candied Carrots
- Preheat oven to 375F
- In an ovenproof dish, toss the carrots with the melted butter, then season with the brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg,and thyme.
- Bake carrots for 25-35 minutes, stirring approximately every 10 minutes until cooked to your personal preference.
Can I Make This In My Instant Pot?
Yes! Whenever we have to get dinner on the table quickly, I always look to fast and easy recipes. This recipe is already easy, but the Instant Pot makes it a recipe that I do not have to look at. I can focus on the main course.
Instant Pot Directions:
- When it reads hot: add butter and allow to melt
- Turn off the Instant Pot
- Add Brown sugar
- Stir
- Add Carrots and stir. Be sure to coat the carrots
- Add 3 / 4 cup of water
- Close Lid and set to manual for 3 minutes
- Do a Quick Pressure Release and serve
