Have you heard of Christmas crack?! Well, this is Pretzel Crack! It is a sweet & salty snack that you will not be able to keep your hands off of! Ready?! Let’s do this!

First start out with a single layer of pretzel. I used this shape pretzel to get a lot of pretzel flavor in this sweet snack.

Now it’s time to make the caramel sauce. Keep an eye on this, it can easily burn 😉

After you spread the caramel sauce, scatter the chocolate chips.

After the chips melted, spread an even layer of the melted chocolate over the entire pan.

Let cool completely then cut into squares. How easy was that?! 😁

I hope you try this recipe for your next hang out! They are amazing!!!

  • 4 cups pretzels
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325F. Line a baking sheet with foil and cooking spray.
Place the pretzel on the baking sheet in a single layer.
In a small pot, heat sugar and butter over medium low heat. Bring to a boil. Stirring constantly, continue boiling for 3 minutes.
Pour the hot mixture all over the pretzels. Put into the oven for 8 minutes or until the caramel is fully bubbling.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the chocolate chips. Turn off the oven and put back into the oven to melt the chocolate. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the entire pan.
Let cool completely. Cut into squares. Enjoy!
  • You can also add nuts on top. I think peanuts would make this taste like a snickers bar!

I personally have made these and they are out of this world, I've also used Club Crackers it still comes out great, if you use Crackers, put the salt side down on baking sheet. Happy New Year
