OJAI PIXIE TANGERINE SORBET

Today I want to share this easy Ojai Pixie Tangerine Sorbet. did you know when you freeze these tangerines wedges, then blend them with the robust flavor of the olive oil and a splash of juice, you have created the "GLOW sorbet"... It is sweet, and the olive oil adds a velvety touch and nutrients.
Spring is in full swing and with lots of citrus fruits now in season, let's try the NEW "Ojai Pixie Tangerines" they are very sweet and still has a little tang. You can enjoy by itself, the perfect healthy treat. But this time I decided to take transform them into a refreshing sorbet, high in vitamin C, polyphenols and antioxidants. This is your new healthy treat this Spring and Summer season!

OJAI PIXIE TANGERINE SORBET
Recipe details
Ingredients
- 3 Ojai pixie tangeries
- 1 Tbsp of Garcia de la Cruz Extra Virgin Olive oil
- 1-2 Tbsp of Tangerine juice or orange juice
- Add 1 drizzle of honey if you like it sweeter
Instructions
- Peel and place tangerine wedges into a tray lined with wax paper and freeze for at least 3-4 hours
- In a food processor, add the frozen tangerine wedges, and blend
- Add 1 Tbsp of the juice at the time to get the desired sorbet consistency.
- Add 1 Tbsp of Robust Garcia de la Cruz olive oil
- Blend to perfection and Enjoy!
- Ready to serve!
Tips
- You may add a drizzle of honey if you like it sweeter but not necessary.
- Garnish with fresh raspberries or blueberries.
- Garnish with drizzle of chocolate.
