The Best Potato Skillet Using an Apple Cutter

Potatoes are a pretty versatile dish. We just had a newborn and we need something we could heat up quick. So I made a ton of potatoes for our breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Start by washing the potatoes. I like using a strainer it makes it easier.

Here's the fun hack. Ever use an apple slicer to cut potatoes? It works just as well and saves time.

I usually just slice the middle part in half. Otherwise you're good to go.

In a large shallow pot, I saute oniens and peppers in Olive oil with some salt and pepper to taste.

Once they are starting to carmelize I add the potatoes on top with half a cup of water and cover. I usually also add onion powder and garlic powder. I just like it in most of my dishes.

Cook like this for about twenty minutes, stirring occasionally.

Like I said, potatoes are a very versatile dish (aka french fries can be found at every resturant). For breakfast, you could throw a fried egg on top, delicious! For lunch or dinner, you could use it as a side. It's really easy to stick in the fridge and reheat later on.
