Not sure what to do with your leftovers? Why not put them all together in a slow cooker! I had more then half a Christmas ham left over! Plus carrots and potatoes after the holiday feast. I hate to wasit food but eating the same thing every day gets old too.
I added onion, corn snd celery and threw them all into the crock pot, minus the potatoes since they were already cooked and would turn to mush if put in for too long.
Then I added 2 cups of chicken broth.
Cook on low for 7 hours.
I added the potatos 5 hours into cooking.
A hearty soup with leftovers! Pair with a grilled cheese= YUM!
