Left Over Christmas Ham and Sides Into Soup in the Crockpot

Not sure what to do with your leftovers? Why not put them all together in a slow cooker! I had more then half a Christmas ham left over! Plus carrots and potatoes after the holiday feast. I hate to wasit food but eating the same thing every day gets old too.

I added onion, corn snd celery and threw them all into the crock pot, minus the potatoes since they were already cooked and would turn to mush if put in for too long.

Then I added 2 cups of chicken broth.

Cook on low for 7 hours.

I added the potatos 5 hours into cooking.

A hearty soup with leftovers! Pair with a grilled cheese= YUM!

Ingredients

  • left over ham
  • left over carrots
  • left over potatoes
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 cup corn
  • 3 cups chicken broth
Instructions

Put onion, celery, carrots, ham, corn, and chicken broth in crock pot for 7 hours on low.
Add potatoes after 5 hours so they don't get too soft.
