These cranberry brie bites are topped with fresh rosemary and toasted walnuts. They're a great appetizer for the holidays. If you are like me you want an appetizer that’s going to “wow” your guests, but you don’t want it to be too complicated. These bites are exactly that. You can whip them up in 15 minutes and they only bake for 15 minutes. I also found that they taste better the next day! I rewarmed them for a couple minutes in the oven and they were amazing. The sweet and savory combination of the brie cheese and cranberry sauce is just delicious, and the fresh rosemary and walnuts give it a warm holiday vibe. I hope you enjoy this holiday recipe as much as I do!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz can Crescent Roll Dough 226g
  • 14 oz can Cranberry Sauce 396g
  • 8 oz Brie Cheese 226 g
  • Fresh Rosemary
  • Walnuts For Topping (Optional)
Instructions

Pre heat your oven to 375 degrees.
With a little bit of olive oil grease your cupcake or muffin pan.
Cut the crescent roll dough into 12 squares.
Place one square in each muffin space, and gentle line it with the dough. You want to make sure your have dough covering the bottom and some on the sides.
Cut up your brie cheese into 24 even pieces, and place two pieces in each muffin circle.
With a spoon mix up your cranberry sauce. The add 1 tablespoon of cranberry sauce on all 12 bites
Optional- Top your brie bites with some chopped walnuts. You can do as much or as little as you like.
Bake the brie bites in the oven for 15 minutes.
After baking let them cool for 5 minutes and then take them out of the pan. They should lift out of the pan easily with a fork.
Finally top your cranberry brie bites with a little fresh rosemary. I found it easiest to cut it off with scissors over the bites. Be mindful not to use the stem if you want your guests to eat the rosemary.
