Love Me Tender Steak
This is what we call our Love Me Tender Steak with twice baked potato and lemon parmesan asparagus recipe. This is a part of our Valentines week special because going out on valentines day can be VERY expensive. There’s no need for you to go out and drop 100$+ on a night that shouldn’t cost that much. Instead we opt to stay in and cook up a delicious meal while sipping wine all the night through. Speaking of saving some money, this is our favorite budget friendly cast iron skillet.
You can get flower’s delivered from Amazon Prime now for your Valentine! They are killin’ it! Is there anything they can’t do? I mean, really? Is there?
The simple art of cooking for someone is showing care and compassion. And that is something more than what you can show by just going to a nice restaurant. If you enjoy cooking as much as Val and I, there’s nothing more you can do than take time out of your day to focus and prepare a meal for someone. Food is an essential part of life and without it we’d die. You’re not only making something for someone you love, you’re making something for them to savor and enjoy. There’s nothing more romantic than that.
In coming up with this recipe, we wanted to give our readers something that was of restaurant quality and very simple to make. I know steak is something that is REALLY hard to mess up if you know the basics. Seasoning, Temp, and Rest. Those are the three keys to a good steak. The seasoning can be as simple as sea salt and pepper, if you have a good cut of steak but if not don’t fret, just make sure to tenderize well. Just cover both sides and let the meat absorb what you put on it. We added a couple more tips and tricks to this recipe to help impress your significant other and let him or her be amazed as you hit their flavor pallet with a haymaker.
We decided to go with butter, garlic and rosemary because whats a steak without a little extra love especially on a day about love? Well, below is the recipe and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did! On this Valentines day, we hope you feel loved and have someone to love! And if you are looking for something with seafood instead of our Love Me Tender Steak, try out our Marry Me Lobsta & Pasta. AMAZING but be warned of Phillip’s notes in the post! Hehe
