With just 3 ingredients, these BBQ crockpot meatballs make some of the best appetizers. They are perfect for the big game or time you are hosting a get-together.

The Best BBQ Crockpot Meatballs

We are big fans of football in our house. And where there’s football there’s always food! Since the Super Bowl is coming up soon, I thought I would share a recipe for one of my favorite appetizers with you, BBQ crockpot meatballs. They are so simple to make and are always a huge hit with a crowd.

What makes these meatballs the best? The secret’s in the sauce. Made with Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce and grape jelly, it is the perfect combination of savory and sweet. Yum!

Ingredients for The Best BBQ Crockpot Meatballs

  • 32 ounces frozen meatballs
  • 18 ounces grape jelly
  • 18 ounces BBQ sauce (I prefer to use the Sweet Baby Ray’s brand, but any BBQ sauce will work.)

Instructions for The Best BBQ Crockpot Meatballs

To begin, add the grape jelly and the BBQ sauce to a large mixing bowl and stir until the two are combined.

Next, turn the crockpot to the high setting and dump in the frozen meatballs.

Then, pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the meatballs and stir until they are evenly covered.

Cook the meatballs on high for 3 hours or until they are warmed all the way through.

And that’s it! Just dump, stir and let ’em go. It doesn’t get much easier than that, right? The meatballs are best served warm, and leftovers can be easily reheated. Just store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days.

Do you plan on watching the big game? We’ll have it on in our house. (Even if it is just to watch the commercials and the half-time show.) Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today, friends. It's great with homemade meatballs. I use chili sauce with the grape jelly. It's great.

I've never made these with BBQ sauce. I have always used Chili sauce in place of BBQ sauce. Super easy and everyone loves them.

You can use any meat you like. We done it with just about everything. We even mix the sauce and brush it on chicken and burgers, sausage to grill. We love lil’ smokies in it.
