Yogurt bowls have become very popular. They are great for breakfast or snack time. Typically, is a bowl of yogurt or plant based yogurt and loaded with amazing and healthy toppings like fruit, nuts, seeds and honey.

At my house, yogurt bowls are the perfect afternoon snack and pick me up treat for my kids. Sometime is our dessert after dinner. They are loaded with antioxidants, vitamins and overall good source of calcium for you instead of other processed foods, sweets or snacks.

Our favorite toppings are :

  • berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries or blackberries)
  • bananas
  • nuts (almonds, walnuts, cashews, etc)
  • seeds (chia, sunflower, sesame, etc)
  • honey ( I prefer organic raw honey)
  • homemade granola

Why not turning this into a fun activity for the kids, creating a yogurt bowl station and have the toppings ready so each kid can make their own with favorite toppings.

If there is any nut allergy you can just keep it simple with fruit, seeds, granola and other favorite topping for the kids and family.

Here is my favorite yogurt bowl with plain greek yogurt, berries, almonds, chia seeds, flax seeds and honey.

Add some mint leaves for a pop of color and flavor.

Another version of yogurt bowl. Here is my kids' favorite bowl combo with blueberries, almonds, chia seeds and honey.

What are your favorite toppings on a yogurt bowl?

Let's keep it simple... let's Dishplay_it together!
