  • Package of thawed filo sheets according to manufacturer's instructions
  • 1 cup ground pistachios
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • Olive oil or butter to lubricate the filo sheets
For syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rose water
How to prepare:
Place the filo sheet along its length.
Grease each rectangle well with melted butter or olive oil.
Pour a handful of pistachios all over the filo top and roll.
Put in a mold as in the picture and crop according to the desired size
Grease the rollers well on the outside.
Put in the oven at 180ºC for half an hour or until the baklava browns well
Meanwhile, sugar syrup is being prepared
Boil the water and sugar in a saucepan until syrup is obtained for about five minutes, add the rose water and cool completely.
When the baklava comes out hot from the oven, pour the cold syrup over and cool.
