I love baking with puff pastry, it is such a versatile vessel for both sweet and savory fillings. The rich buttery flaky crust adds decadence to any dish, while somehow maintaining a light and airy texture.

These Cheesy Broccoli Puffs make THE perfect appetizer or side for any meal of the day. They would be a lovely addition to scrambled eggs at brunch, a tasty side with a bowl of soup for lunch, or the perfect appetizer to indulge in before dinner. These scrumptious little puffs also make a great kid friendly lunch option for the little ones in your lives.

With only a few simple ingredients you can whip these little delights up in no time and impress everyone!

Begin with a sheet of thawed store-bought puff pastry. Roll the puff pastry out onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.

Evenly sprinkle on the toppings to the puff pastry. It is best to finely chop everything so that it evenly incorporates throughout.

Roll the puff pastry into a log shape and slice into 3/4" thick medallions.

Place the medallions spiral side up on the cookie sheet ensuring to leave at least a 2" space between each one. Brush each pastry with egg wash and bake at 375 for 15-18 minutes.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before eating. These are best served slightly warm or even at room temperature.

These little melt in your mouth puffs are so delicious. The addition of the ham and broccoli complement the melted cheese and buttery flavor of the pastry perfectly.

These sure look impressive and complicated to make, but take absolutely no time at all to whip together.

Enjoy!
