Sparkling Apple-Ginger Punch

Punch is always great to have at a get-together. Whether you are talking about a healthy punch for Thanksgiving or a healthy punch for Christmas, this simple apple ginger punch takes only a few ingredients and has such a great taste that you will want to make it whenever you need a simple punch recipe.

Ginger Ale Punch


Many punch recipes are made with ginger ale. I love ginger ale punch but I do love when I can find a punch that doesn’t have soda in it. This sparkling apple ginger punch has the same flavor as having ginger ale in the punch, but it gets the ginger flavor from using actual ginger. While there is a ginger flavor, it doesn’t overpower the apple and orange flavor.

Orange Punch


Many people think of orange punch as punch with orange sherbet. While this kind of punch is delicious, I personally prefer a punch without orange sherbet. This punch has a great tasting orange flavor without being an orange sherbet punch.

Apple Punch


While I have never had a straight apple punch, I have had apple cider punch several times and I love the strong apple flavor. When making this sparkling apple ginger punch, I don’t want a strong apple flavor, like in an apple cider punch, because it will overpower the orange and ginger flavors.

Sparkling Apple Ginger Punch

Ingredients:

2 c. fresh 100% apple juice



1½ c. sparkling water



2 t. ground ginger



1 small orange, thinly sliced



1 small apple, thinly sliced



Ice, to serve



4 large cinnamon sticks

Directions:


  1. Add the apple juice, sparkling water, ground ginger, orange slices, and apple slices to a large pitcher or punch bowl and stir to combine.
  2. To serve, fill tall glasses with ice and add a cinnamon stick, and fill with the sparkling apple ginger punch. Enjoy!
