Easy 10 Minute Small Batch Skillet Granola

This easy small batch skillet granola is full of simple, but delicious ingredients. In as little as 10 minutes, you can have homemade granola that is the perfect snack or addition to your breakfast!

I remember growing up, there was a health food store in our town that we would visit only every so often, but they had the most delicious granola. I would get a bag of it and it was my favorite! Fast forward to adulthood and my love for granola never ceased. There’s just something about adding it to yogurt or eating it as cereal that seriously makes me so happy!

As I’ve continued on my journey of learning how to replace store bought foods with homemade, I discovered that homemade granola is actually super easy to make! I really had no idea, but I’m so happy that I can now make granola whenever I desire. What’s great about this small batch skillet granola recipe is that you can make it up quickly and it really only takes about 10 minutes start to finish!

While granola doesn’t typically take that long to make, this version is quicker and great for when you really want granola in the moment and don’t want to wait for it to bake in the oven. You can also double or triple this recipe and use a larger skillet if you want an even bigger batch.

I love how simple this recipe is and how tasty it is too! It’s like eating candied nuts without the extra sugar. Toasting the ingredients really brings out their flavors, and with the addition of cinnamon and maple syrup, ugh, forget about it (cue Michael Scott impersonation)!

TIPS FOR MAKING SKILLET GRANOLA

  • I recommend chopping the nuts into fairly small pieces to help them toast faster.
  • Use pre-chopped nuts to eliminate a step!
  • Preheat your skillet to make the process quicker.
  • Keep the granola moving in the pan to avoid burning the coconut chips. Burnt granola is no good!
