All the flavors of a juicy bacon cheeseburger in pasta! This Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta is a family favorite. Love a one skillet meal? If so, this dish is for you! Everything comes together in one pot. Kids love the cheesy flavor and Moms love how easy it is to make. It's like a bacon cheeseburger in a pasta bowl! Ditch that store bought boxed pasta mix you have in your cupboard. This homemade version is much, much better and your family will rejoice.

So I teased about this recipe on Instagram last week and then made a good handful of you mad when you realized it was not yet on my blog.

I've learned my lesson.

If I know a dish will be extremely popular I should just wait to chat about it on here. We live in a world of instant gratification! I mean, in retrospect I should have known. Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta! It's not like I was teasing about lima beans.

Besides eating our weight in this dish, around here we are starting to get our groove back. School is out for Summer and it feels glorious.

It was such a weird ending to the year, but kids are resilient! I honestly felt like we got to know their teachers even better as we were in contant communication about assignments and classroom calls. I certainly DO NOT want to repeat it, but in the end we all passed {including me}.

On to 5th, 4th and 1st next year!

And now it's SUMMER. Social distancing restrictions have lifted and my kids are once again loving life running all around with their friends and enjoying the warm weather. It has done wonders to our moods. We were cooped in for a few months and it was about three months too many.

So, this recipe.

I've been making it for years. Probably since our first kid was born. It's always been so simple to throw together on any weeknight and is always meet with a cheer. Who doesn't love a cheesy pasta dish that tastes like a bacon cheeseburger?

People always say how do you forget to share some of your most beloved family recipes?

Here's the answer. I have no idea.

Chalk it up to three busy kids, a dog, and a husband. I guess my brain is FULL. Every once in awhile I realize "we eat this all the time, yet I've never shared it". That is when I grab my camera and snap some shots.

In under 30 minutes you can be diving fork first into this super cheesy bacon burger pot of goodness. I've always, always used elbow macaroni, but any old pasta shape will do - you may just need to adjust the cooking time.

You can also add chopped tomatoes, onions or pickles. Spice it up like the real thing!

I will say do not skip out on the seasoning that goes in the milk mixture. That paprika, garlic, sugar and onion powder combo is the real deal.

It gives it such wonderful flavor.

We ate this {again} last night and I served it with a side salad and some fruit. I mean, what kid or adult wouldn't eat that?

We did have some leftovers so let me inform you that this heats up really, really well the next day. Simply splash a bit of milk over the pasta before reheating and that creamy, cheese sauce will come back to life after a few stirs.

Heck! Your kids might think you made it again - it tastes the same!

I cannot wait to hear how you like this one!

Especially those finicky kids of yours - mine GOBBLE this up like it's a frosted Christmas cookie. Be sure to print this one off, you'll be making it again and again, week after week.

You're welcome.
